Hello! We are trying to install a Diono Radian RXT rear facing in a Jeep Patriot. I would prefer putting it in the middle. If you insert it with the rear facing base, it does not leave room for me to fit in the driver's or passenger seat. My question is: Is it OK to angle it so that it rests against the driver's and passenger seats? Or do I need to get the rear facing angler? My baby is 7 months old. Thank you!!!

Welcome! I've never put the RXT in a Patriot, but I think the space is pretty similar to what I have in my Liberty. You are going to need to use the angle adjuster because Jeep doesn't allow the car seat to touch the front seat. Unfortunately, your baby may be a little young yet to use the angle adjuster (I believe in the US you can use it when your baby has good head control, but hopefully someone else can either confirm or correct that).

You can use the angle adjuster once your baby has good head control and can sit unassisted.
