Question Complete Air 65....is it narrow?

Is it narrow enough for 3 across in an Equinox? Other seats will be keyfit and unknown convertible. Would a sure ride or defender be a better choice? It's for a 4.5yo forward facing. Thanks!

The CA is moderately narrow. How it will fit your vehicle is hard to say. It's narrower than a SureRide but wider than a Defender.

Interestingly, I actually get MORE space using a CA forward facing in my Civic than I do with a Radian, even though the CA is wider. I have big bolsters on the sides of my back seats, and when I install the Radian it installs a few inches away from the door. Because the back of the CA is extremely narrow, the CA installs naturally right up next to the door and the wide part flares out in front of the big side bolsters. I gain more than an inch of extra room for something to install in the center, compared to installing the Radian in the same position.

I do not know without trying what your results with various seats will be in your vehicle.

I've done a three-across with a CA in a few vehicles. It's sides are low enough that it'll puzzle fairly well with some seats.

Thanks. It's my sil's nanny a car. Nanny has a 2yo and they need to fit a keyfit for noob and something for a 4yo. She said she'd try to find out what seat 2yo is in. I'm just trying to help her find something that'll fit :)
