Canada Evenflo Triumph in 2008 MDX - Canada

Hi, I'm planning on purchasing two Evenflo Triumphs for my twins. Is it possible to install them side-by-side in the 2nd row of an MDX? I often have a 2nd row passenger (AKA Grandma, while Gramps sits up front), and would like that passenger to get into the car comfortably, without having to remove a car seat.

Currently, I have two Maxi Cosi NXTs. My extra passenger just shimmies in past the bases. I'm concerned when we move up to the next size car seats, we'll have less room for the other passenger. Is it possible to have "passenger-car seat-car seat" combo in that middle row? Is it a tight fit? Should I consider other car seats? I like the tightening knob feature of this car seat (I have the hardest time tightening using the straps while standing at the side of the car seat).
