Fllo :http://clekinc.com/support/documents/clekus000067/

Foonf: http://www.clekinc.com/support/documents/clekus000049/

Does the difference in numbers matter? Seems to be the biggest difference in the FF 1 yr old and 6 yr old head injury and FF 3 yr old chest acceleration.

I really want a Fllo, but hate knowing there is another seat out there that is "safer." I love my Foonf, but want something lighter for flying and a lower profile. However, I don't understand those numbers and percentages and what they mean in terms of real life injuries.

No, I don't think so.

Rear-facing is so safe, any properly installed and correctly used convertible seat will provide great protection. From the Cosco Scenera for $39 at Walmart to the Foonf at 10x the cost. I doubt there is much of a basis to say these kinds of differences would matter much in real-world risk of injury.

I think the Foonf system of rigid LATCH plus REACT is one of the best designs for forward facing on the market and their numbers seem to support this. Fllo did pretty well in their reported numbers as well.

I'd have no problem using either seat for my kids, but honestly, I think most seats provide very good protection when installed and used correctly. With only a few exceptions, I put my kids into a lot of them!

On a slightly related note, I would love to see the Fllo and the Foonf next to each other for visual comparison.

Does the React system get the same crash numbers when used with a seatbelt and rigid latch?
