TALLEST booster (for older kid)

Anything new out there?
What's the TALLEST booster out there?
Child is 8 so I need to go big. I am replacing a Cybex booster that was in a car that got backed into.

I like the Recaro booster and am also looking at Peg Perego Viaggio. I don't like the Britax one so that's out.

Booster will likely move around in different cars. We could go with another Cybex but not sure on the stats on that one...if there are taller ones.

He's actually harnessed in the Frontier90 in the van.

For Nana's car, anything that is easy to use would be great. 5 and 6 YO might use it too, at times. Really no plans to go backless ever unless it's all that fits the child.

It's been a while since I bought a booster!

At his age, there's really no reason why he can't go backless unless he has special needs. If there are any hbb that still fit him, 1) they will be very pricey and 2) they likely won't fit him much longer

The Peg requires headrest support and dd said it was uncomfortable. What is that you don't like about the Parkway?

I have to agree. DS outgrew his Nautilus by height and almost weight. Very very limited HBB options. I ended up with a Clek Olli. The thought was scary but it's perfect.

Now if you really want a HBB because of the younger two, Recarro Performance Booster is what I was considering for DS.

Original Britax Frontier (80) might be the tallest? So tall it won't fit at full extension in some vehicles;-)

Well, we have a Recaro Performance Booster that we just got.
I like it (as mentioned in another post). Great seat! He has room to grow. It's in the spare car.

We'll keep the Frontier90 in the van for him for now as the top slot of the harness still fits him just fine, above shoulders.

I don't really need another booster now until next year anyway, so we're good!
