Question Retrofit REAL bench seats into newer cars

For me, the best and most comfortable seats I have ever had were the ones in mid-60's to early 70's four door sedans--solid back bench seats.

The problem is that even those vehicles that don't have a center console tend to have smothering "bucket" style seats. Even a split bench, when you can find them, don't allow the easy slide from left to right, in case you don't want to exit your car into traffic.

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket product, or a way to take the bench out of an older Dart or Oldsmobile and put it into a modern sedan front?

Thanks for any insights.

Putting aside comfort...a 70s style seat has totally inadequate head restraints. Whiplash is a very serious and painful injury and I would rather give birth while standing in line at DMV than ever experience it again. Exiting on the street side is a small price to pay for cervical spine protection.

Whiplash is not fun. Also, the last time I decided to zoom out the passenger side instead of exiting on the traffic side I broke a toe but, crazy stuff happens to me.

To add on to the safety concerns of swapping out OEM vehicle seats in current/recent model cars for older bench style front seats, you would be disrupting if not outright disabling the functionality of the front airbags by forgoing the OEM front seat based advanced airbag sensors for front seat occupants, decreasing the protection for front seat occupants during a crash.
