Transport Canada Stickers

I just bought a secondhand Graco Safeseat tonight, but there is no Transport Canada sticker on it. Is there something I'm missing or did I just throw away $100 bucks?

I did register it on the Canadian website, would they be able to tell if it was a US seat? I am just not comfortable using it until I know it's safe.

This is one of the reasons why we advise people not to buy second-hand seats...you have no idea where it has come from. There are knock-off seats coming out of China, for example. They might not have a maple leaf sticker on them, another example. It could've been in a crash and somebody is still looking to make a buck off of it... You just never know.

No, there is nothing like that on it. All of the UAS information is called "LATCH" though, so I think it may be a US seat:( I am trying to get ahold of Graco, will they be able to tell me if it's a US seat?

Another way to tell if it's CDN...for future reference...is to look for french instruction stickers.

Glad to hear you are getting your money back.
