Harmony Defender Booster ?

I saw a discussion of the Defender requiring the seatbelt to be locked in booster mode. Does anyone have any information on this? Would you choose not to use the seat in booster mode because of this requirement?

My BFF is the one who had the question and started the discussion. She called Harmony today. Here is what she texted me.

"Harmony said its a recommendation, for cases of children pulling the belt and moving it from the belt path and also the strangulation thing? I feel like I need supporting evidence for and against."

Doesn't sound like they actually require it.
