Lexus RX350

My mother-in-law is considering a late-model used (probably 2012) RX350, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks or concerns about this vehicle from a carseat perspective.

I read some old threads and it sounded like a reasonably spacious backseat with the possibility of a 3-across using just the right combination of carseats.

But from photos, it looks like there is either no center head restraint in the rear, or one that is so low as to afford little protection for an adult. And because of the 40-20-40 folding seat, the center section is quite narrow -- possibly unusable -- and there appears to be pretty considerable seatbelt overlap btween the center and passenger side outboard.

Anyone know if these impressions are correct? It's hard to tell from photos and I haven't had a chance to check it out in person. I know my MIL would be disappointed if she could not transport all 4 of us in addition to herself.
