1979 Strolee w/ Tether Instructions

I'm visiting my parents and my mom brought out my baby book. The instructions for my first car seat popped out. Thought some of you would enjoy.

I got that car seat (except it had a pretty light blue vinyl cover) for my then-boyfriend's daughter (who turned into my stepdaughter a couple years later). She was only 19 months old and when DH split with his ex, she wouldn't even share their crappy car seat that she never put the kid in anyway.

DH probably would have just buckled her in the seatbelt or had me hold her on my lap (!) but I insisted he buy her a seat. I guess childless 24 year old me already had the car seat bug :thumbsup:.
We got that in the November of 1979 - he actually bought it, but I picked it out :dance:. Got it at JC Penney. I loved that seat

I was born in 1979 as well and had that seat. My mom was borrowing a van from someone without seats on the back. It did have shag carpet. Anyway, she strapped me into it and just sat me in the back. She turned a corner too fast and I rolled across the back of that van. I think I'd have been better off not in a seat!
