Well, ran into my first rear adjust infant seat....

OMG, why in h-e-double hockey sticks did they EVER make those? My roommate twin just had her baby and they came over to visit. She had it on the second slots, waaaaaayyyyy above baby's shoulders, so I fixed that. And strongly suggested they leave it adjusted, buckle the crotch buckle first, then the chest clip. I could not get it as tight as I wanted it, but it was still less than a 1/4 of pinch, just could not get it any tighter. If we had the money, I'd be tempted to buy them a Onboard 35 or an Urbini and just tell them I want it back when I have my 3rd, of course that's assuming I get my third.... It was a Graco 22lbs something. Yah, gah.

Those things are terrible. DD's infant seat was a rear adjust and so was DS's for the first 2 months until it was crashed and I discovered the glory of a front adjust harness!

Oh, just awful. Such a pain in the butt and people very rarely take the time and energy to adjust properly every single time. I have seen so many babies with the straps flopping everywhere. :(

I can sort of understand why they first made them, but what I don't get is why they are STILL available!? Looking for a new seat for baby number 4 since the one I had for the first three expired last December. When I went to Baby Depot at least half the seats there had rear adjust harnesses! That is just crazy to me!

I had one for dd1. I got a new infant seat for ds1 even though the seat was only 2 years old when he was born! Good riddance!

Guess who came over again today? And even better than playing with a squishy newb was she was still all buckled in nice and snug :). Looks like mom took my advice, yay!
