My son's girlfriend has two kids, 7 yr old girl and 9 yr old boy. The mom is nice, the kids are fun! But neither one uses any kind of seat. In her car, she has built in harness adjusters which help but in my son's truck, nothing. My granddaughter, 6, is in a Radian in the middle, between the two other kids. They stopped by here on their way up north. As they were leaving, I said the little girl would be more comfortable with a booster and that I had an extra backless one. The mom said OK and put her in it. Yeah!
But, the true test was two weeks later, same scenerio. They stopped on their way out of town. I walked them out to the truck and when they opened the back door, I saw the backless booster, ready to go, next to the Radian. Yeah again! Of course, I wish the 9 yr old was in something (short for his age) but that is not going to happen.
