Can I make the parental decision to use a Graco Tubro Booster belt positioning strap on a Safety 1st Boostapack?

I had a Boostapack overnighted and it's missing the strap! DS is going to be gone all day Monday and transported by 3 different people. It would be so much easier for him to use the Boostapack than try to lug a small bag plus the Turbo Booster.

I believe they're basically all the same. If I remember correctly the Graco ones are the same as the ones on the BubbleBum. Or maybe ours get mixed up!

If it connects to the booster in similar fashion, then yes I'd use it. I think the only one that we have that is different is our LiteRider.

My main concern is that the Boostapak had a very specific belt guide with a line on it you're supposed to line up with the child's shoulder. I'm not sure how much that really matters, but...

Also keep in mind the bizarre requirements. The guide goes on the side of the seat nearest the buckle, then you're supposed to pass it diagonally to the shoulder-belt side. This means that the guide winds up being below the kid's shoulder if the line was originally level with the shoulder before moving it over.

The whole REQUIREMENT to use the belt guide is also kind of weird.

It's just weird.

^ The strange belt issues were the first things that came to my mind regarding the Boostapak. I feel there are other seats that take much less brainpower to install.
