I had realized after my daughters last field trip that they were using only lap belts in the bus for the kids, cause only some of the busses have harnesses and carseats. I talked to the teachers today, because i want her in a harness, and they said ok, they usually only have a few harnesses in each bus usually for the smallest children, but they would make sure she had one. I left the school, then realized i had a marathon in the trunk so went back and buckled that into the last row on the bus. Come to find out, the bus they had today all the kids would be in lap belts. The teacher said they pull them very tight, and i trust that they do. What does everyone think? Would you let your child go?
I will be suprised if they can get the carseat out of the bus, cause it was lap only belt so had to go under the bars, and was a pain to get in. lol
