Long story short, I'm going to need a car that will fit 2 rear facing diono radian rxt car seats. I was hoping to avoid the mini van route. Any suggestions? I am 5'7, hubby is 6'.

Are there any other kids in the vehicle? How old are the kids riding in the seats? Do you have a vehicle budget, year, make/model in mind? There are quite a few vehicles that radians fit in rfing so hopefully that can help is narrow it down.

What do you currently drive?

I currently drive a honda civic, so 2 rear facing dionos do not allow anyone to sit in either the passenger or drivers seat. I'm conceding to the mini van route, but in looking at online installations it looks like even in a honda odyssey you lose major leg room in the front. So perhaps I just have to put them in the third row of a vehicle to fit them rear facing.

I just got such a good deal on these seats. My 8 month old is ready for one, as I'm no longer carrying his 23 pounds around in his chicco keyfit 30- and I'm due with a baby at the end of July- so in the next couple of years I'll have 2 kids both rear facing for quite sometime so it would be nice to have a car I can use both seats in.

We will be doing some looking and fitting this weekend, but it's nice to have an idea of where to start.

Honestly, I wouldn't purchase a new vehicle to fit my car seats, I'd purchase new seats that fit my vehicle. This is assuming there isn't another, more compelling, reason other than car seats for getting a new vehicle. I would sell the radians to help fund the new seats.

Have you tried the angle adjuster with your radian? Others have had success getting it installed in a civic with using it and it definitely makes a difference with giving some leg room up front.

At what age is the adjuster suggested for use? Something I read about needing neck and head control?

I own a civic and agree that the radian does not leave enough upfront room. I used a boulevard 65 and complete air 50, with much extended RFing success.

There is no longer a set recommended age but once they can sit unassisted and have good head control, you can use the angle adjuster.
