For the first time in forever (OK, 8.5 years)

I own NO harnessed seats right now. Sold my two remaining Complete Airs today on FB, which had been in DH's old car and MIL's car.
Now:
2 Parkways in DH's car

'13 Parkway and Monterey in mine plus a low back Santa Fe (Monterey) that DS occasionally rides in

MIL has 2 Parkways

FIL has 1 Monterey

Beside the low back, I have no extras and no seats are currently in my house or garage. Insane.

That having been said, I am planning to buy a new Frontier for our road trips this summer for DD. That girl is such a space cadet and just doesn't give a sh1t. I have found I'm correcting her way too much in the booster to trust her while I'm driving 6 hours alone with them on a 4 lane. Should I have just kept one of my old Frontiers...probably. (Sold my two Frontier 80s a month ago.) But that has to be completely reinstalled when switching from harness to booster. With the new one I can much more easily switch between harness and booster mode. Don't need it until July so I'll just wait for a good sale. There was a good Mother's day sale but I hadn't sold the others yet so I didn't jump on it.

And in other news, DS actually gained some weight. He weighs 47 now! He's now like 4th%ile instead of less than the 3rd%ile.

DH dreams of that day here! What an odd feeling!

I'm almost there with you! We currently have 2 Frontiers (an 80 & 85). The 85 has been sitting in my basement for almost 6 months and I'll give it to my sister next week when she visits (for my super tall almost 4yo DNi). And the FR80 we'll be using as a HBB for quite a while still in our truck.

I hear that. I still have my frontier and use it with ds. It is in the back row of the van and sometimes he just prefers it. He is still under the top slot, but not by much.

It is weird though isn't it??

It is strange! But I'm really enjoying purging all the baby and little kid stuff and getting on with all the elementary age fun. A few things have been hard to let go of (honestly the FR80s were!) but it's just stuff.

Congrats. End of an era. Seats just go on and on here. New babies will continue to come for a while yet, I think.

Aw, I'm sad for that day to come here. DS3 just turned 5. I'm hoping to get at least another year if not two out of our harnessed seats. However I haven't bought a new seat in forever and I've been slowly selling off the extra seats we have. It does feel good not to have a million seats sitting around though...I guess.

I think I'll be close to 50 before we are completely out of harnesses seats. My youngest is only 17 months, and we may have another on the way
