Volkswagen beetle and hbb

I am getting frustrated by the beetle. It is 1999 child is nearly 8 and 80 lbs. limp noodle when sleeping. Most of our drives are at least one hour each way due to being rural. I have the sk montery and it does not work at all. The head wings push on the glass of the window and the side wings push the seat to sit wonky I tried the evenflo amp and the head wings were not supportive enough. She literally fell out. I would say 19 inch torso based on how she fits in the regent. It was suggested I try out the parkway. Any suggestions would be helpful

You are going to have the same problem with any hbb unfortunately.
There's just not room for the head wings past a certain point.

I wish i had an idea.
My dd had to switch to lbb in grandmas beetle for that reason.

What about a lbb and that Cardiff headrest? http://cardiffproducts.com
That way she can lean against it and you can position under the windows.

Are you allowed to use that with a booster?

Yes, the Cardiff headrest is designed to be used with booster seats
