We are going car shopping for our 17yr old. There may be times he drives the kids to school, so I need to have a game plan for putting seats in his future car.
We are looking at: Jeep Liberty (2005ish), Nissan Xterra (2000-2003), and Ford Escape (2002-2005).
The Xterra (and maybe the Escape too?) only has a lap belt in the middle, which means I will need a skinny harnessed seat. Don't really want to buy a Radian for the very rare times she will use it in his car. And I don't know if the Maestro will play well with 2 boosters. I'm thinking the Harmony Defender will work best, provided I can get a decent install. BUT, are there top tethers in this location? I can't tell by the pictures.
DD is almost 5, short and about 38lbs, so the Defender will last her a long time.
