Question Britax convertible coming loose?

I installed our Britax convertible rf with seatbelt/lock-off in the middle of our CR-V about 7 wks ago. Baby is due next week so it hasn't been used. I was cleaning some stuff out of the back seat yesterday and tested the install. To my surprise it had loosened from rock solid to an inch or more of movement (tested 1 hand right at belt path). Is this a common problem? I've had that happen with rf seats with sb and locked retractor + use but never with a lock off (and no use). Any tips?

CR-V is 2007. I've never had one loosen so quickly or one with a lock-off at all. I found it especially weird considering the seat has just been sitting there.

I find sometimes with the compression of the vehicle seat, the CR will loosen. I just check it before I put the child in until I see that it has stayed tight consistently. Are you locking the belt at the retractor AND using a lock-off, or just the lock-off?

My bv rf lock offs slipped. I made a video if it, sent it to Britax and they replaced the lock offs. Was crazy really!

I did not lock the retractor, just used the lock-off. Checked again today and it was already loosening.

I would call Britax and install the seat with LATCH, if available, or by locking the belt at the retractor in the mean time incase baby makes an early appearance. Sorry you're having issues :(
