Radian RXT vs. Rainier

Will there be a review or blog spotlight on the soon to be released diono Rainier? I'm very interested in either the plum RXT or the orchid Rainier. Has the shoulder height changed or much of significance?

Keep an eye on CarSeatBlog, I'd say they'll have a very comprehensive review at some point! The seats are essentially the same shell-wise, but the side walls on the Rainier are deeper and the weight limit is higher for RF.

Higher weight limits are the big change, as well as the extension of useful life in the seats.

If the shell is the same, and the sides are just extended forwards, would there be any changes for seat puzzling? I would be looking at a FN85 outboard, RN/Rainier middle (RF then FF), and infant seat outboard.

I read that they are keeping the RXT and rest of the line, but are they stopping production? I just went to Kohls and they had RXTs a couple days ago when I wrote this post, but now they are all out of stock.
