recline for infant with reflux

Ok so baby is 5 weeks old and weight 10.6 pounds, has bad reflux, especially when is in the car seat, the manual say I can change the recline at 11 pounds, how bad can it be if I change it now? Can I have a 5 week old infant in a 30 degree angle? Her reflux gets bad in the car...

Probably fine to do it if she has really good head control. It probably won't take her that long to gain another half pound though. Maybe a week? You might also ask your pediatrician and just get an OK.

What seat are you using ? I found that sometimes it's the pressure on the belly while sitting in some seats that makes reflux worse in tr car.

My son did really well with the cco and insert in vs using the sr35
Each baby is different though.

The radian saved my life. The L shape (radian) is better for a baby with reflux than the C shape ( infant buckets).
It´s worth a try.

We switched my daughter from an Onboard Air to a radian at 5months and she suddenly stopped SCREAMING in the car. She had bad reflux as well. She seemed to feel much better in the radian and her posture was much more upright.
