Shoulder belt FF install help? Britax Marathon

KS99

New member
Hi, I am trying to install a Britax Marathon 70 in the FF position with a shoulder Belt in my 2012 Highlander. I am not sure if I have the belt going through correctly. I fished it through the forward facing path on top of the red lock-offs, but when I was looking at it from the side, it appears that the shoulder belt is not resting against the metal bar, instead it is resting on the upper plastic part above the bar. Something doesn't seam right? Am I doing this wrong?
Thanks!

Does the belt lay flat once inside the belt path? No twists right? And you have the recline in position 1 or 2?

If yes to all, you are likely just fine. If you can adjust the shoulder belt lower I'd do that, otherwise that's likely just how it lays when installed in that particular position.

Make sure you have it top tethered too! :)
