    "Friends" in profile (User CP)

What is the point? I just sent a friendship request but I don't even know what it means!

It doesn't do anything except show that you have "friends", lol.
    Here's mine: http://car-seat.org/member.php?u=6047

See, it just shows you who I have as "friends" on here. It doesn't do anything special.

Well, on the Pink Room when you go to PM somebody, your list of friends is listed so you can just click to add them to the PM.

It's an attempt to incorporate some of the features of the social sites into vB. You can set your privacy settings so that only people on your friends list can see and/or add messages to your profile. It is also a quick way to see if the people you like are online. Also, as previously mentioned, it makes it easier to get to the profiles of those that you contact the most.

I'm not seeing how to do any of that. Want to explain?

I just customized my profile so that you can get an idea of some of the other stuff that you can do, too.
