flying with lbb

Just wondering how everyone does this...just have kiddos carry them on & then put them under the seat in front of us?? Boys are 6 & 7 and I have a graco connext & a harmony (not sure of name, $12 lbb at Walmart) Will the connext fit under the seat in front of ds or is it too big? Also wondering if anyone's flown with a harmony defender 360 & how well that fits...tia! OH, leaving in 2 days on American Airlines...

We have flown with the monterey and turbo backless boosters. Each time we put them in the overhead bins, but they might have fit below the seat.

I usually put ours on top of our rolling carry on to get through the airport (might use a bungee to attach it better to the handle when we fly next week). We put them overhead instead of under the seat also so the kids can have their bags with their entertainment under the seat.

Do they count as carry on luggage? Since they can't be used on the plane I don't know how the airlines classify them.

They do not count as carry on luggage, and we usually put them in an overhead bin, except on our first and last flights which are always on a tiny commuter turbo prob (they don't fit)
