What is this seat?

I have been converting my grandparents' old slides and found these pics of me! It's from 1981.

Looks like a strolee.

might be wrong.

i had one too in 1981

Actually-maybe a Century. I think we need Classicseats to tell us

I think century came later.


This is me in a strolee. The chest strap is the same as the one posted above.

That one is definitely a Strollee. . The other seat looked wider and the side wings seemed bigger. Hard to tell from pictures. They were definitely popular back in 81! I preferred them myself. .

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure it is a Century. It's hard for me to make out the pics on my phone. That style seat was introduced as the trav-l-guard around 1977. It then became the 4000 series in the 80's.

OT- classicseats, did you see this thread earlier this month... We had another old mystery seat. If you have any insights please post on it and bump the thread. OP said zooming on the logo, there is a bear and it looks like "coozy" or something.

My parents swear they bought a Fisher-Price seat for me when they found out they were going to have me, and that the seat was both rear-facing and forward-facing. The problem is, I cannot find any record of such a seat existing.

Classicseats, did Fisher-Price make a convertible seat that my parents could have purchased in November or December of 1977?

Almost 100% sure there was no fisher price that early. If you go to my pinterest page, there are several catalog pages that might shed some light on what seat they had and when?

My mom thinks it was a Bobby Mac. She said we had two seats and she thinks they were both Bobby Macs. The first could be lifted out and put into a stroller.

Well, my mom thought she had more pics, but I think this is the Bobby Mac and not the one in the other pictures. Still fun to see.

The first one is a century for sure, just not positive of the model. The second one IS a bobby mac. Cool! Thanks.
