Booster training

DD1 turned 7 this week and finally hit 40lbs. I had told her previously that she had to be 40lbs before she could use a booster.
We have an Argos that is currently her seat but with harness straps.
So my options are to change the Argos to a booster or buy a dedicated booster.
I'm just worried about changing it because DS, who is 4, often sits in the Argos. I often take my 2yo niece so while DD1's at school her seat is used for another child.
So what would you do?

How well does she fit? IIRC she's skinny right? I'm guessing a dedicated booster would be a better fit for her. And to be honest if you use the Argos for other kiddos I'd go with a dedicated booster (I'm lazy and wouldn't want to change seats around) especially if you have room in your vehicle for both.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I hate to have to move seats around.
She is very skinny. Just turned 7 but can wear a 4t shirt. Just hit 41lbs and only 45".
What would you recommend for a dedicated booster? Do I need a high back or can she use a no back. She never sleeps in the car but would on a long trip.
We have a few trips planned to myrtle beach which is a 5 hour drive. I would probably harness her for those trips.

My almost 6yo is about her size, maybe a smidge smaller - and she loves her turbo with safety surround. She just started to use it in my husband's car but she says it is more comfy than her fr85.

I really, really like it, other than wishing it went taller.

My 5 year old has the same stats as your daughter, and we both really like the fit of her graco affix hbb.

My just turned 7yo is 46", 44#. She was excited to ride in a booster at 7. She fits great in her Recaro Performance booster but after riding in it for a month, she asked for her fr85 back. Said it's comfier and she feels safer. We travel a lot and often late so she ends up asleep. She looks comfier in her fr85. She rides in dh's truck in a Recaro Vivo and fits great in that as well. It's rare and shorter trips in the truck.
