    KF22 travel system pricing help

Need some help determining price on this. NannyFam has a KF22 they'd like to get rid of; I have a coworker who would like to buy it. They have asked ME to set the price. The seat expires May of 15, so it's a perfect fit for coworker who is having a "surprise!" babe and got rid of everything.

I am seeing new KFs for $120-180, so divided by 60 months, times the 14 it has left, I am getting $28-42. I'm good on that part. But, what about the stroller? If I apply the formula to the whole travel system, I get $75. But the stroller doesn't expire? So do you value the stroller separately, and if so how? It's a 2009 Cortina, I guess??

They have some extra covers that could potentially be included, too. No idea how to factor those.

    Anyone have any guidance?

Re: KF22 travel system pricing help

I checked my local Craigslist and they are going for $50-$80 depending on age and condition. When I price baby gear for a children's consignment sale, it is usually 1/4 to 1/3 its original value. Hope that helps!

Thanks, that helps a lot. That's for the stroller or the travel system?

I wrote out the formula for nanny dad & he said, "Whatever she wants to give me is fine." Lol. But I know he'll be mad if I come back with a low proposal without justification

Sorry I wasn't clear. That price was for the stroller only. Your pricing for the car seat seems right on!
