Frontier 90-click tight sticking

I just got it yesterday, and the click tight wouldn't open at all and the buttons were stuck in. I finally got it, but I've already ordered a replacement from Amazon.

Do you think this is just stickiness because it's brand new, or an indicator of future problems?

Was it installed and wouldn't open?

Mine is sticky. I have to put weight on that area of the seat to get the buttons to release.

Is it just one side that is sticking> (like does the button not pop on one side? if that makes sense?)

Mine was like that and it got stuck open, so that it wouldn't close! I was stuck without a seat. Not fun. I would definitely keep an eye on it. Britax ended up replacing my seat.

The replacement one sticks a bit, but the buttons don't stick the same way. When the seat is installed it is easier to uninstall if you unbuckle the seatbelt first.
