It looks quite similar to the Pronto and BoostAir, and they tend to position the belt really well. (They're also really tall- don't know if this one is.)

We do know that Dorel tests all boosters on a mockup of the IIHS setup during development now, aiming for Best Bet ratings. So there's a good chance this would be a Best or Good Bet.

All Dorel boosters also require vehicle support behind them to the level of the child's ears or higher.

My dd's crazy in love with that color combo, lol. And I played with the backless in the store, the drawer is big enough for an iPad mini. Wish we had the highback in the store, I'd love to try one (good enough price to buy it anyway, hmmm, I might have to...).

Ok, so that was fairly useless, I just like to babble :D

I ended up ordering one so I'll take pics :)

I did not take pics of the measurement, but I can if asked to. The belt guide at the top position is 22 inches! The manual says the seat is for kids at least 43" tall, 4 years old and 40lbs in both high back and backless mode. The high back does not come with the belt positioning clip for backless mode and the manual instructs that if the shoulder belt doesn't fit correctly, to re-attach the back OR order a belt guide from Safety 1st. The manual also specifies, as expected, that vehicle support is needed behind it (which I have even with it at it's top setting, so nbd) My kids are pretty tickled with the drawer and cubbies and cup holder and they love the color (cover is called Adventure).

Can we talk belt fit? I think the lap belt looks ok, but what about the shoulder belt?

Here is DS. He is 43.5" (I measured just before putting him in it) 42lbs. This is where I think he needs it set to. It's about the 4th or 5th click up, I think. How does it look?

Here's the next click down for comparison

and a side view:

Here's DD with the same setting as the first pic of of DS. She is about 46-47" and 55lbs.

The belt fit in the first pic looks pretty excellent. I don't like the second as well.

Your daughter's looks ok but it seems like she's leaning? I'd see how it does with one click up.

It really does seem similar to the Pronto and Boost Air, and only a little shorter if the measurement is 22" (they are somewhere between 23" and 24" depending on how you measure.)

(Are those wooden chairs in the back? Trying to figure out what that is. LOL)
