I just "upgraded" to a 2003 Kia Sedona, but I'm thinking long term now. We will probably purchase something more new-ish in the next year or so.

Here is what I need:
Under $25k
Used is fine, prefer certified pre-owned and under 50,000 miles
Needs to accomodate 6 passengers occasionally
Must be reliable, and/or have good warranty coverage
Prefer AWD or 4WD, but it's not a deal breaker q
Prefer decent fuel economy - 20 mpg or so
For a minivan, I prefer manual sliding doors rather than auto
Great crash test ratings and safety features

My current considerations are certified pre-owned Kia Sorento or Sedona. Possibly a used Sienna if I could find a great deal... also looking at the Mazda 5, but the lack of crash test ratings bothers me.

So, what would you pick? Any models I haven't considered?

Well the only van with AWD is the Sienna. If you are open to an SUV, you have more options, but of course your mpg suffers.

I'm open to minivan or SUV, and I'm willing to forgo AWD if I like everything else about the vehicle. I use winter traction tires anyway, so I can get by without AWD.
