I don't have it but I can find one like it... I figured they will give it the same treatment as the usps give them...

If you are not flying with the child, using the original box is the best way to check it.

If you are flying with a lap baby, be sure to bring the car seat to the gate. Do not check it at the counter, box or not.

If the child has a seat, use it on board (unless you're on a foreign company where it's not allowed or some story like that).

Checked bags are NOT treated the way UPS handles them. UPS is NOT under the tight time frame that passenger jets are. They are package specialists, whereas the airlines are not. Bags can get squished under others and there is no special treatment for car seats.

The box is a good idea for a pregnant woman or someone bringing a car seat to someone else.

We still don't have it clear but the situation can be that I have to travel by my self with a 6 y/o and a 2 m/o and they will both need a car seat on destination, I have tried to find someone who can let me use one but no luck, it is also unclear if we are going to be able to pay for the 2 m/o baby, we are trying... I know the Radian fits in the overhead compartment but if I can't pay for the baby then I have nowhere to put the TFP.... I also can't figure out how I can make it to the gate with 2 kids and 2 heavy seats... with one stop.....

I would put the 6 year old in a booster at destination, check it if necessary. My 6 year old uses a Boostapak on vacation. He carries it himself with his entertainment inside. At home he uses a HBB.

Do you have anyone local that would trade your TFP for a bucket for the duration of your trip? Buckets are easy to fly with.

Ok I have a small 6 y/o and that's why she still in harness and the place that I am going it's a bad driving place! We had consider letting her go to booster ones she is 6 but still unsure... she is immature...

I have a infant seat, if we are able to pay for the baby then she will use that, but if we can't pay for her then I figured it was best to bring the TFP because it is older, it will expired in 2 years and the infant seat is new, so it won't hurt that much if the TFP gets damage as if it was the infant seat....

In that case, if you must harness and you are willing to cart two massively heavy seats (I would never do that), I'd fold the Radian and put it in the overhead and make the 6 year old sit in the TFP on the plane. I, personally, would booster, as at 6 years old I think there is increasingly little reason not to. If that were not acceptable, I would avoid the giant seats and would buy a Maestro for the 6 year old and bring the infant seat. But, really, I'd just booster in a HB turbo for a small 6 year old.

If you are going to check the TF - a dish pack box fits it perfectly.

For such a small baby, definitely go with the infant bucket-style seat. Get used to installing it without the base. It's just one more thing to drag along. If you score a free seat, you can't use the base on the plane anyway.

Remember that the car seats have to go next to each other on the plane. If there's only one aisle, they have to go by the window. If you're in the center section with aisles on either side, put them in middle seats.
