Toyota Prius v

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right spot. Move it if I'm not ;-)

Currently I drive a Suburban but this coming fall we are going to buy our first brand new vehicle :) whoot whoot!! I have had my eyes on a Prius for years and really really like the Prius v. But, I have 3 kids. My oldest is 5. Does anyone have this car? Can you tell me if I could fit 3 radians in it? I live over 30 miles from the city and the gas mileage in the Suburban is killing me!

We have a regular Prius, not the V, but have been quite happy with it. Do be aware that the V has plastic hinge pieces on the seats that can cause car seat installation issues. I'll have to let someone else chime in on successful 3 across installs, but I will say that I can get a skinny teen and two booster age kids in ours when needed and I believe it's a smidge narrower.

I believe I read the back seat is 1 inch wider then the original Prius. I have seen some pictures on Google with 3 across but I'm not sure they were installed right. I know people on here typically have seats all installed correctly.

I don't recommend the leather seats. I can practically get nothing installed on them. I have a 2011 Prius - no v! Also the belts overlap. I have major issues getting my 3 grandkids back there.
