narrow booster with latch?

I'd like to find a booster for the backseat of my wife's Mini Cooper S convertible. Our Britax Parkway SGL is too wide at the back and does not fit in-between the bolsters of the leather seats. The Parkway's a great seat; it just doesn't fit and I'm not ruining the hideously overpriced seats with it. Besides it fits in my Jeep just fine.

I want one that includes LATCH-compatible straps so the seat will stay in place when not in use. I'd also like one that's actually comfortable. Some of the entry level ones are just horrible to sit on for any length of time. Then there's the ones that are half-ssed chop-jobs from a larger model that leave an uncomfortable gap at the back where the top would be attached. Neither my wife nor I are short folks, so a seat with a decent length would be nice. Some carseats have a rather short seat leaving the backs of the legs with less support.

Anyway, slogging through all the seats is an adventure. At this point I'm leaning toward a Recaro. But I'm open to alternatives if anyone KNOWS of a seat that WILL FIT in the Mini's back seat.

The recaro is a whopping 22 inches across according to their web site. I'm also in the market for a booster. I would like latch, comfortable, available in pink and purple, not over 120ish dollars, and not huge across. I don't think it exists so I'm leaning Graco affix which hits most of the points.

It's possible the maxi cosi latches and isn't as crazy wide as the recaro but it is also $250. I need 3 boosters eventually so that's a little out of my booster budget.

eta - unless you meant the older recaro, the pro booster. it might be narrower, I'm not sure. That one was reported by a lot of people to be tippy but if your current seat has leather bolster that other seats are bumping into, your car might be shaped well to support it. It works better in bucket type seats.

The Recaro Performance Booster is definitely not a narrow seat and I can't see it working with a seating position that has bolsters. The Maxi Cosi RodiFix, though not cheap, might work with the bolsters. Keep your eye out for the CarSeatBlog.com review coming soon. :)

I might look at the Graco Affix, it's LATCHable and likely less wide than the Recaro. It is considerably less expensive than others mentioned, and is decently cushy.
