I have access to the 4th ("Effects of driver characteristics..."), 6th ("Biomechanical considerations..."), 7th ("Opportunities for injury reduction..."), and last ("Occupant kinematics...") through the library at the college where I work. Someone who goes to or works at a larger institution might well have access to the others.

The second study claims that 94% of infants in motor vehicle crashes were properly restrained. How on earth do they correlate that with a 70-90% misuse rate?

ETA: Thanks Pixelated! I'm looking forward to reading these later.

Your first point - I have no idea, unless they're considering "properly restrained" to mean they were IN a seat in the back seat, end of story. Which of course is not at all the whole story!

About the second point - I've recently begun subscribing to a weekly literature summary and there's a pdf every weekend categorized in multiple ways. I *think* that everything CPS related would show up in the Transportation section toward the very end. You can subscribe here: http://www.safetylit.org/index.htm
