Are Compass boosters short?

I bought a Compass B570 booster for DD about six months ago, as it's the only booster I found that has a shoulder belt guide that works with DH's Forester. I went to raise the height yesterday and couldn't, it wouldn't go up any more. I haven't taken it out of the car yet to see if I can get any more height out of it, that's my next step, but I was wondering if Compass boosters are in general considered to be pretty short?

DD is seven, of average height. She still fits in our Radian 65SL, right at the top slots. She still fits in her Turbobooster, with maybe a click or two to go in height. Is the Compass just a ridiculously short booster? If so, I may be putting her full time in a backless in DH's car, which I'm not happy with, or I may put her back in the Radian, which she will not be happy with.

I don't think it is a super tall booster, but I don't think it is super short either. My son is 8.5 and 52" tall and is using it, it is at max height. I guess it depends on her torso height.

I think the top height is 19.5-20 inches. Ds2 outgrew it at 7 at about the same time as the hbtb and GN in harness mode.

Yeah, short. My 54" 8 yo is basically too tall for ours, and she's bummed, she just decided she loves it after owning it for a couple years.
