Just saw someone suggest this for a 1yo in a cab. Is it even safe?

I would think the user would get too frustrated with it to even use it properly in a cab.

Geeze its old. Are they still making it or are people just selling it? Idk..

Most of my car seat replies either get ignored or I get ridiculous responses, so I've mostly given up. I'll post articles, etc to my fb page, but that's about it (unless I want to get in arguments)..

Idk why people don't just use Disney buses...

I had a similar seat when my oldest was 3-4 years old. We used it for one trip from Michigan to Illinois with my in laws. We had a big old beast of a sedan with 6 seatbelts. I used that thing in the front with oldest dd with dd2 center back with a grandparent on either side. It was a bear to install and use. I hated every minute of it! She was not as safe as she could have been. We bought a van shortly after that trip so we could safely haul all of us, plus in laws. I got that harness from my sister who had used it as a travel seat and she loved it. Clearly she did not use it correctly because as someone said it was near impossible to install and use correctly. I got it to the point of about 1" movement but it took a lot of doing to get it that tight. Harnessing dd in was another adventure each stop and with elderly in the car, we made a lot of stops. Terrible memories!
