Hello,
I'm wondering where the best seat placement is for my Graco Snugride 35 click connect infant carrier in my 2008 Hyundai Tucson? Is the safest position in the middle seat using the seat belt or outboard using LATCH? I have my stepsons Eddie Bauer HBB behind the driver side already but I'm now debating where this new baby would be the safest....passenger side or middle? Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome! :) In figuring out the ideal configuration, the least protected passenger would have the most protected spot (the center). Since your infant will be rear-facing and rear-facing offers the most protection in a crash, the ideal configuration would be to have your stepson who rides in the booster in the center and the infant seat on one of the sides.

Sometimes the ideal can't happen. If the seats won't fit that way (for instance, they don't puzzle well right next to each other or the booster doesn't provide a good belt fit for your stepson in the center or someone was dealing with a vehicle where the center only had a lap belt and couldn't be used with a booster, etc.), then having the booster and the infant seat in any position in the car where they can be properly installed/used will also work. In terms of installing, LATCH is not safer than the seatbelt or vice versa, so installing it with the seatbelt in the center because that works better for you or installing it with the seatbelt or LATCH on one of the sides if that works better for you is fine. :)
