Do I have any hope of finding this?

DS (2.5) has been riding RF in our old radian (original) till recently when the chest clip broke. I know I can buy a new one but it's about to expire so I planned to move him into DD's Radian XT, which still has a few years of life on it, but the cover is pink. I cannot for the life of me find covers for this model, except some aftermarket handmade ones on ebay that look a bit sketchy and are girly anyway. Any thoughts on where I might find, or is it impossible now?

DH wants to just swap clips and "ignore" the expiration.:eek: Not gonna happen, buddy!

I have the Radian XT as well. Diono has none. I've tried twice when I had to call them for new stickers (now my retroactive 40lb RF seat has stickers that says 45lbs RF  ) and sticky headwings.

Friendly reminder to keep all swap-related content in the appropriate Swap forums.

OP if you have swap access that would likely be a good place to get a new cover.

Wasn't trying to solicit (If that is the implication?? didn't know there WAS a swap let alone what is involved in access to it). Genuinely wanted to know if anyone has leads for finding a replacement cover since they seem to be nowhere but I'm definitely not in the car seat loop. I find something that works for us and stick with it, so I don't keep up on things unless a specific issue presents itself to me (didn't even know that SK was no longer till I looked this up!).

Guess he'll just stay in the pink car seat (despite DH's protests) and if/when he starts complaining we'll get something new. Thanks, thepote, for the info.

I don't think she meant you were in violation. But often when someone posts something like this, it's easy for someone else to reply with "Oh, I have one I can sell you!" and that, in turn, would be a violation. :)

Take a look at the Car Seat Swap forum. I haven't checked there recently, but there are usually various covers for sale for lots of seats. I believe even if you don't have swap "access" you can reply to ads if someone is offering one for sale.

I don't believe there was problem was with your post.

Even if you don't have access to start threads in the Swap forum, you can read and reply to posts there.

This. Sorry OP, to give you the impression there was anything wrong with your post. I also should have pointed out that you can buy from Swap without necessarily being able to sell in Swap. I was tired and I forgot

I hope you find what you're after!

No it was totally my fault :)
I had put a swap thing in my post trying to be helpful without thinking. I PM'd you after it was edited.

OP, have you thought about dyeing the cover? I think as long as you went with a darker color, like red or black you would have luck covering the pink.

Thanks all. I couldn't figure out what I'd done. I will look at the swap section.

I hadn't thought about dyeing it. It's a floral pink pattern and I wonder if it would take? Hmm. Also wonder about shrinking it since most dyes require hot water, IIRC. DH suggested spray painting it lol but I didn't like the fumes and the flammability factor (not to mention it would be crunchy and probably sticky feeling to sit on!) . Wish the new version of this seat hadn't changed so much that the covers are no longer usable.

Honestly, I would just use the pink cover, as long as it is still in decent enough shape. My DS1 rides in a Flora in our 3rd vehicle, and it is his favorite cover to ride in!
