BJCM questions...

I have 3 kids....6,4 and 1. I have a BJCMD which is our workhorse back and forth to school and the park/soccer games etc. we took it to Disney....it was AMAZING!! All in all I love it. I also have a P3 that I use for my DS (1year old) at the mall etc and have alwYs loved, but it's getting super creaky and it has to be forced open to get it to lock etc. I still like it.... Just not as much as the BJCMD....but with my older 2 getting busy with school etc I just don't need a double as much. I'm keeping the double though (my kids are lazy )....but contemplating getting something to replace the p3 for DS and I.

I have a Mac Triumph....love it for Dr's office etc, but hate it for shopping cuz I can't hang a purse or diaper bag off of it. I have a cheapo jogging stroller with air tires that we use in snow during the winter, and gravel at the lake in the summer, but also hate shopping with it cuz it's huge and the front wheel is fixed.

So.....I'm thinking of getting a BJCM. But should I get a GT? I could probably get rid of the cheapo jogger if the tires on the GT can handle gravel and snow....can they? I don't dislike the plastic tires on the BJCMD, so question if I really need them, but then part of me would like to finish off my stroller career with some really nice air tires, and a buttery push, ya know? :p

Anyway, my husband is going to kill me for even thinking about this. So I need some justification. Should I just put up with the creaky P3? Or take advantage of the year end model clearances? Anyone with a BJCM or GT care to tell me how much they love theirs??

Ok I'll tell you... I love mine :p

The tires are solid rubberized. I can't tell the difference from air filled. I would get the GT again in a heartbeat just for the hand-operated flip brake.

I can push DS3 (7yo, 50ish lbs) with one hand over a gravel road, so yeah :) Oh, and the fact that he still fits at 7yo because of the high back is great. It's my last stroller (dd is 3) and every time I use it I know I made the right choice.

I might also look into the Valco Snap or Snap 4. It has a better basket than the City Mini which it sounds like you might enjoy.
