I installed four seats tonight, including a Frontier 85 and a Radian, and I was feeling pretty full of myself until I got to this gosh darn MA classic. New seating position, first time using lap/shoulder belt on this seat. First question: I prefer to use the switchable ALR feature of the belt rather than the built-in lock-offs on the seat. Do I just route the seatbelt over the closed lock-off (it sticks up a bit) and then thread it through the RF belt path? Second question: do the latch connectors "click in" to their cubbies? After an exhaustive search I located the elusive latch cubbies and managed to stuff the latch connectors in them without disturbing the installation, but I didn't pause to wonder if they should be secured in their cubbies until now.

You can go over the lockoffs if you'd rather use the locked belt.
And the LATCH connectors just get stuffed in there. You're good on those.

Forward facing yes. Rear facing, like this will be installed, it's the flip open hinged lockoffs.
