I was looking at this for Korah... but... good grief, wouldn't it just be cheaper to buy the real thing?! :duck:

Yes. I will never understand why a person would buy that seat, unless they just truly had so much money they didn't care. for that price, buy a scenera or apt for pete's sake, and have a real usable backup seat you can use if need be.

Hahaha. I'm guessing the only con for a real seat is difficulty unbuckling the crotch buckle.

Maybe I can find a used graco in a consignment shop with that press down buckle. :p

As for doll fit... The toy ones aren't a great fit either!

Sent from my phone using fat fingers on a tiny keyboard.

A Comfy carry would work, wouldn't it? Those are already super cheap and light from my experience with them.

I have the forward facing Joovy doll seat. I bought it with a coupon at TRU years ago for around $24. All for fun. We've used it a lot.

I have a 90's era Evenflo 3-point infant seat I rescued from Craigslist which my daughter uses for her dolls. Often several dolls at once. ;)

:yeahthat: but I got mine for around $16 when they were on a sale years ago. I wish the infant seats would have been on sale because mya would prefer that one. She uses it every time she's at my house and we go somewhere. I used to have a expired real infant bucket for her but she thought it was too bulky to carry around and she used to like to carry her baby into the store in it (now she has a doll ergo that she uses instead). I'd still rather have the infant seat for her instead of the booster but y'all are right I can't afford that!

We had a joovy one, but DD thought it was to "babyish" now. I bought a combi infant seat without base for $5 on craigslist, she loves it. I had never gotten to play with one, so I thought it was neat lol. Double win.

I paid $30 for ours, which I think is well worth the price. It stands up to a lot of abuse unlike the cheap $12-15 ones you can get at BRU, they are not nearly as fun to play with either. It was my daughter's main bday present for her second birthday, I hardly think that was extravagant :shrug-shoulders:

I have an expired snugride that DD uses for her dolls. Found it on the side of the road with a 'free' sign on it.

Yes, this!
I don't remember how much I paid for mine, it was bought just before we brough #2 home from the hospital, so over 7 years ago. It remains one of the favorite toys. Both my girls love it as well as my son and other kids who come to play. It's small and light enough to carry around the house and it's easy for them to buckle and unbuckle. It's in perfect shape too, it's very durable, so many toys aren't durable but this is.

We have one too, I can't remember if I paid $30 or $35 for it but it has been well worth the money. It has been very well used.

I was thinking the comfy carry. When we brought Mallory home we used her seat that we used while in Canada. A Canadian safety first infant car seat. Summer and Leah have been using it for their dollies since we got back and she went into he infant carrier we have been using.

Harness heights? Anyone?

The infant seat or the forward-facing one? I have one of each, though I probably won't be able to measure until tomorrow. I'm...not really overly concerned about proper harness fit on a doll though :p The fit has always been technically atrocious on pretty much anything we've ever put in it.
