Marathon Classic still available?

A friend messaged me last night that she thinks the Marathon Classics aren't being made any more? If they are still being made, where is a good place to buy one? She wants to get one for her husband's car. Also - is it the Marathon Classic that the old covers fit on (I think she has a Wisconsin one that she bought to use for the last years of life on the FPSVD) Do the new roundabouts have the same shell? Just want to make sure she gets the seat that she can use her cover on if possible! Thanks!!

Classic roundabouts at target and walmart will fit the classic marathon cover. I think target and Walmart will have classic marathons, too. The newest generation of seats will not fit the classic covers.

As far as I know you can still get a classic marathon at Target and only Target (it is not on their web site but I have seen them in our local stores so maybe they are being phased out)

There is a Highway 65 which is close - I think it is a Buy Buy Baby seat - not sure if it takes the same cover?

Roundabout 50 takes same cover - does not come with hugs pads and supposedly less other bells and whistles but not sure on more specifics than that.

There is a roundabout55 for sale now which has a slightly shorter shell but more legroom and a higher rf weight limit. The classic covers won't fit on it but the price is good and it is worth considering if she likes the classic style of seats. I think there are 4 covers to choose from for that and they're pretty nice IMO (except for no cow)
