More Accident Help

Ok, so today a deer ran into the passenger side of my car that was damaged last week. The is a big dent on the passenger slider door where my backless parkway is and the frontier is in the back row. I got the insurance agency to cover my Affix so that is good but now this.

IIRC that is considered an accident, you may need to replace the seats....

Was the vehicle in motion? Was the Parkway occupied? I would call Britax & get their opinion.

And then bubble wrap your car!!!

I was the only one in the car and I was going about 45 since I was getting on the freeway. I agree about bubble wrapping my car.

Yeah, I'd replace. I was not sure what "ran into" entailed. At least the seat near the damaged door.

Thanks, now to convince the insurance that I need 3 new seats instead of 1. This should be fun.

If you contact britax they would probably give you something to submit to the insurance company which would probably help. Sorry on the bad luck with accidents lately!

Thanks I will try doing that. Never fear I got hit by another deer. I am so over driving it isn't even funny.

You got hit by another one since Tuesday? Aw man Well they say bad things come in 3s so hopefully that's the end of it.

I've hit 2 deer while I was driving, and my friend was driving my car when we hit another one. I can't tell you how many deer I've nearly hit- one time I blew out my master cylinder from slamming on the brakes so hard. I even have dreams about hitting deer. It sucks, especially when there's nothing you can do now matter how much attention you're paying. Take a deep breath before you get on the road again, that usually helps me.

Yep, on Tuesday I got hit by a deer getting on the freeway and on Thursday I got hit by a deer trying to turn on the a street to get to the library. I am pretty sure the 2nd deer got hit by on coming traffic first and is currently dead on the side of the road. Hopefully, I am done hitting things. I can barely ride in the car at night right now. It was not that easy during the light to drive to work. I am sure my insurance company is going to hate me.

I think I would give up driving for a while. More carseats involved w/Deer 2?

Well, I was letting my DD ride in the Frontier since it wasn't in the actually sliding door position and my DS was in an almost expired backless Turbo that I am not going to bother replacing. Now to figure out how to fill out proof of loss forms and get them notarized.
