I have never had my kids wear their winter coats in the car--just their fleeces. I saw another post about a Land's End down coat that people said was fine for the car because it is 100% down. I ordered one for Claudia and one for Oliver.
I was looking at our current coats that I am going to give away/sell, and am just wondering what makes the down acceptable for the car, but not other coats. The coats we have are 100% polyester. They are just regular winter coats. Not super puffy, but thick enough that I don't think they are acceptable for the car.
