Can some one explain this for us laypeople???

Are they saying it has been tested as per booster regs?

What is that picture of the child in the seat with and without the product supposed to show? It's not exactly subtle that she's slouching down and sitting horribly in the frame without this thing....

I agree with Baylor, are they claiming this has been tested as a booster? Could it even be safe? I've never heard of this thing before.

The clip is holding a good 3" of shoulder belt webbing with plastic. That's a lot of slack if that thing fails.

I think they're showing that it keeps her from slouching?

That would definitely make more sense that what I was guessing - that the left picture was just how terrible the belt fit (up on belly, and on the neck) and the right picture shows how it fits perfectly with this thing....
