We just found out that we are expecting #3. Currently we have an almost 7 year old (55 lbs) harnessed in a Britax Frontier and a 3yo (31 lbs) RF in a safety first air (or something like that - I don't really like this seat). Will it be possible to fit 3 across in the back seat of a 2010 honda fit? Likely a booster and two RFing. (Then within a year 1 RF 1FF and 1 booster). I would like to leave our now 3yo RF as long as possible. The baby would be due in July so I have a bit of time. I was wondering about a Foonf a bucket and a booster. The specs on the honda site say the backseat space is just over 53". I also tend to have big babies as both of the other two were over 10 lbs and 22" long. We are in Canada.

I have quite a few pictures of the Foonf in a 2010 Honda Fit as well as a 2012 Model. The biggest issue you'll have so far as fitting 3 across in your back seat goes is that the "mini buckle stalk" that the center seatbelt attaches in to when you pull it down from the roof is a little in the driver-side outer seating position and it crosses over with the seatbelt for that position. It also sits between the lower anchors on the driver side.

With seatbelt configuration like that, it's often not possible to get a good 3 across. Based on the pictures I have, I would expect you to be able to physically fit 3 across, but the seatbelt cross over is going to create a significant problem. In some vehicles where this happens the vehicle manufacturers recommend not doing 3 across, so you may want to check with Honda regarding their stance.
