Question I am a foster parent, and babysit...what vehicle should I get?

I am going crazy with all the options.
I currently babysit two little girls. They are 2 and 10mos. We are also becoming foster parents, and should be licensed and ready for placements in the next few months. I currently drive an 09 ford taurus x, which won't even allow me to transport my DC kiddo's. Should we need to go anywhere we ride in DH's 00 suburban. I hate his truck..it's dirty and smells! But, it transports safely. We are going to trade in the taurus in a few months and I am torn between another suburban or...a 12 pass van. We will be licensed for 2 foster placements, but are open to 3, if it's a sib set 3yr and under, or new babies are born while older one's are in our care. I also plan to keep, and most likely will continue to babysit these girls until they are in school.
All this to say, I will transport regularly 6 or more kids.
It's almost obvious that I need a 12 passenger van, but gosh those things are big!
Help me wrap my head around my options, please!
Thanks!

I'm having a hard time understanding the math, that may be because I'm not familiar with fostering but....
You currently care for two kiddos. You will be licensed to take two fosters, but open to 3. That's five, right?

If so, a Honda Odyssey would be wonderful. Lots of lower anchor and tether points and bunches of room!

I don't know what kind of budget you're looking at, but you might want to take a peek at the Nissan NV passenger van if it's not too far out of reach.
