We haven't actually met with them yet, but we stopped by briefly. There are, indeed, boosters branded with Little Tikes logos, and the booth itself is dual branded. We'll have more info tomorrow.

Re: Diono and little tykes?

Looking forward to more information. Hoping for a nice narrow booster.

Why is it that Diono has one of the narrowest convertibles and one of the WIDEST boosters?:scratcheshead:

Re: Diono and little tykes?

Kind of weird that they say it is the first forway into juevenille products for Little Tikes, they have made (or possibly just rebranded) a bike trailer/stroller for a while which is pretty mediocre. I know the fisher price britaxes were positively received but I tend to feel skeptical if a company seems to have its fingers in too many pots.

Re: Diono and little tykes?

I'll withhold my final thoughts on this until we receive more information, but based on the preliminary information, I really don't like this business strategy for Diono. It seems like they're trying to please everyone- low end markets (with boosters from $19-$59) and the higher end markets (with the Radians close to $300). They can't be everything for everyone! It muddies the water as to what their brand actually stands for and confuses buyers, IMO.

It bothers me a little they're making boosters, I feel like Little Tikes boosters kind of encourage younger booster use. Especially since they specifically mentioned Cozy Coupe boosters, that to me is a younger kid toy rather than a booster aged kid toy. I might look into the stroller though, I need a cheap back up stroller and my kids might like a Little Tikes one if it's got a Cozy Coupe on it :).

Re: Diono and little tykes?

Well, if you look at the strengths of the companies it might be a good thing. Little Tikes is really good at blow molded plastic. There are several excellent blow molded plastic harness to booster and boosters out there. The Frontier, Frontier 85, Harmony Defender, most of the harmony HBB and NBB's

While they have made a few mis steps in the customer relations department Diono is really an innovator in the car safety field. That paring could result in a great low cost innovative (still hoping for narrow) blow molded booster seat with a name (Little Tikes) parents associate with well built, long lasting products.

This is my feeling too. No way would I buy a cozy coupe booster for my 5 yo. My 2 year old loves his cozy coupe but he's not ready for a booster. Same way I feel about Graco slapping Disney stuff on backless boosters.

Re: Diono and little tykes?

I think it is a good thing. The little tikes name is well known and also has a good rep. I think it will bring more exposure to ERF seats..

I love merges.. :)

Ok, that seat with the houndstooth and red straps in the first picture. And the Cozy Coupe door way jumper in the other picture was awesome. If it comes out in time Aubrei will be getting one!
