Question 2 Chicco Keyfits and one Britax Marathon -- 2008 Fusion and 2009 Escape

My wife and I have a 2 year old daughter and we're expecting twins in May. The plan is to fit a forward facing Britax Marathon and two Chicco Keyfit 30's, 3 across in my car and in her car. I have a 2009 Ford Escape and she has a 2008 Ford Fusion.

Anybody know if this can be done? I'm guessing the Britax would go in the middle. We currently own the Britax and 2 Keyfit bases but only one Keyfit seat... so we can't really test it without investing in another Keyfit seat. Obviously not something we want to do without knowing it will work.

Some stores such as babies r us will let you try out their floor model seats in your car. Britax seats are wide so if the seats your thinking of don't fit I'd try a different seat for your toddler. Is she rear facing or forward facing?
