Help with Futura??

I am so upset, I just went to check the manufacture date on my Cargos and I saw that one of my kids pulled the foam out of the bottom of my Futura!! :eek: He pulled the seat cover back under his knees and tore pieces off of the foam underneath!! What do I do? The seat is good until the beginning of 09 and I really need it to last longer!! Can it be used? Most of it is in big pieces.

you mean the comfort foam, and at the leg area?
If so, then I would say its probably fine since it is more of a comfort thing and in an area where you arent as worried about impact.

Yes it is the comfort foam. There is no EPS foam in this seat. It is under the leg area. There is still foam left on his seat, but I just found out that the other Futura has less foam left. All the foam from the crotch buckle back is intact, but they tore the foam under the knees. I really hope this is ok to still use. I wasn't planning on replacing this seat until next year this time.

I wouldnt see why not. If it was in the upper portion then I could maybe see why it might, but with it confined to the leg area... I think it should be ok.


(not a tech or futura owner though, so not 100%... but I dont know why it wouldnt be ok)
